Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the RofiConnect mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

RofiConnect is operated by Daysam Solutions and is intended for users in the Middle East & Africa region, primarily the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.

2. User Accounts & Roles

Pet Owner Accounts

Any individual may register as a Pet Owner. You agree to provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Veterinarian Accounts

Individuals registering as Veterinarians must hold a valid professional licence in their country of practice. You must upload accurate credentials during registration. Providing false or misleading credentials is grounds for immediate permanent ban and may be reported to relevant professional bodies.

Veterinarian accounts remain in a "Pending Verification" state until reviewed and approved by our admin team. Access to content creation features is only granted upon approval.

3. Content Standards

Veterinarian-Published Articles

All articles submitted by verified vets enter a moderation queue before publication. You must ensure that:

• Content is accurate, professional, and based on current veterinary standards.
• You hold the rights to all content you submit.
• Content does not contain misleading health claims, promotional material for non-affiliated products, or harmful advice.

RofiConnect reserves the right to reject, edit the metadata of, or remove any content that violates these standards.

4. Marketing Store

Points & Content Attribution

By submitting content, you grant RofiConnect a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute your content within the platform. Points awarded for published articles and article likes are non-transferable, non-cashable, and exist solely for use in the Marketing Store.

Points redeemed in the Marketing Store are used for promotional placements (Featured Profile, Boosted Articles) within the RofiConnect platform only. All redemptions are final. Points have no monetary value and cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged.

RofiConnect reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any marketing store package at any time.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Impersonate any veterinarian, clinic, or other person.
• Upload fraudulent credentials or misrepresent your professional status.
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights.
• Use the platform to solicit payments outside of RofiConnect's systems.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

6. Medical Disclaimer

Content on RofiConnect, including articles published by verified veterinarians, is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment for any specific animal. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health concerns.

RofiConnect is not liable for any health outcomes arising from reliance on platform content.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

RofiConnect may suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms, provides false information, or engages in conduct harmful to the platform or its users. Bans are issued with a documented reason. Banned users may appeal by contacting support within 30 days.

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile Settings screen.

8. Intellectual Property

The RofiConnect name, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of Daysam Solutions. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.

Veterinarians retain ownership of the original content they submit. Pet owners retain ownership of pet photos and data they upload.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Daysam Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of RofiConnect, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or reliance on platform content.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed AED 500 (approximately USD 136).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
